Enterprise Network Morocco (REM) was created in Morocco in 2005 to bring forth new entrepreneurs and creative workers, help them succeed and help them make their SMEs succeed. REM has had its offices in Casablanca Technopark since 2012.
REM’s principal missions are: to regenerate the economic framework by encouraging the creation of companies that generate jobs; to raise funds from institutional partners for the loan fund; and to cover the whole of the national territory with support from business leaders.
Unsecured loans : Unsecured loans repayable over five years at zero interest as well as no collateral. These loans of between MAD 50,000 and 100,000 can be used to bolster the recipient’s capital and finance some of their business activity.
Individual support for three years : Experienced entrepreneurs undertake personally to share their experience with REM recipients and give them support for three years.
Collective support : A monthly event called the Winner’s Club is a gathering in which REM beneficiaries can share experiences on a regular basis and in a friendly and confidential manner. It is a point of contact where people can go to be heard, an inexhaustible source of advice, and an appropriate response to the isolation some inexperienced entrepreneurs feel.
The Enterprise Network Morocco has supported the creation of 50 SMEs/VSEs that generated over 300 jobs. REM has also been able to ensure that 90% of the companies it supported have succeeded.
